Guided Tour and Regenerative Lunch at Terra Sintrópica

  • Visit CARES: 10h00 às 12h30
  • Lunch at PREC: a partir das 13h00

The intersection between nature, agroecology, and food lies at the heart of Terra Sintrópica. Together, we can create a path of abundance—from production to consumption—with the food forest as the driver of regeneration.

The guided tour is a living conversation that takes you from CARES—the Center for Agroecology and Regeneration in the Semi-Arid—to a shared meal at PREC—Regenerative Process in Progress. It’s an opportunity to explore the territorial challenges and regenerative solutions that make Mértola a laboratory for the needed agroecological transition.

More than a project, Terra Sintrópica is a community process rooted in care—for the soil, for people, and for the future. We embrace sustainability of the agrofood system as the basis for the biophysical and socioeconomic regeneration of the region.
