Junta-te à regeneração!
Support a regenerative future
In recent years, Terra Sintrópica has proven that regeneration in Mértola and our semi-arid region is possible. Soils are recovering, the community is involved, and agroecological practices are beginning to taken up by more and more people. Terra Sintrópica has reached the point where every dollar invested multiplies its impact.
To take the next step—expanding areas under regenerative management, consolidating the local food system, and ensuring a stable team with fair working conditions—we need partners who want to strengthen this transformation.
If you believe in a regenerative future for fragile territories, this is the right time to be a part of it. The seeds of regeneration planted in Mértola today will be the seedlings of a better tomorrow in other territories!

Volunteers
At Terra Sintrópica, we welcome volunteers from all regions of the world who wish to explore and deepen the central concepts and practices of our intervention: agroecology, syntropy, soil and landscape regeneration, local production and consumption, as well as collaborative governance models.
Volunteering at TS means being part of this living ecosystem in Mértola, and caring for the land and its people. To do this, you need to dedicate time. That’s why we accept volunteers for a minimum period of 1 month and up to 3 months.
If you are interested and available, please fill out the registration form and await a response. We have limited volunteer positions available, so we appreciate your understanding.
If you would like to learn more about our project and its community processes, we invite you to participate in a guided visit.
Internships and Research

At Terra Sintrópica, we welcome researchers and interns who wish to explore, deepen, or combine concepts and practices that are central to our work: agroecology, syntropy, landscape regeneration, local production and consumption, as well as collaborative governance models.
At the forefront of interdisciplinarity and a pursuit of comprehensive and contextual knowledge, we recognize the importance of academia in validating the work we develop. It is therefore crucial to monitor the implemented work, verifying its effectiveness, while simultaneously addressing new questions that allow us to review and consolidate our actions.
If you are interested in participating, please fill out the form below and wait for a response via email. If you would like to learn more about our project and its community processes, we invite you to participate in a guided visit.
