Guided Visit and Regenerative Lunch na Terra Sintrópica

Guided tours are a journey through the Terra Sintrópica ecosystem, taking us from CARES – Center for Agroecology and Regeneration for the Semi-Arid Region – to a shared meal at Regenerative Process in Course (PREC), our regenerative food hub.
These are an opportunity to learn about the challenges of the territory and how Terra Sintrópica is fostering a community-based process of systemic change. Throughout the visit, we share both the technical dimensions of ecological regeneration and regenerative food production, as well as the collaborative, community-based processes that underpin the project.
These two dimensions — technical and relational — are inseparable. It is through them that we ensure the longevity, inclusiveness, and dissemination capacity of the ongoing agroecological process.

Objetivos da visita
- Compreender a interação entre natureza, agroecologia e alimentação.
- Observar práticas de regeneração do solo e sistemas agroalimentares regenerativos.
- Promover a consciência ambiental e comunitária nos alunos.
As visitas guiadas são gratuitas para escolas do 1.º, 2.º e 3.º ciclo do concelho de Mértola e devem ser marcadas previamente preenchendo este formulário.
Os alunos terão a oportunidade de explorar o CARES e o PREC num contexto educativo, participativo e de contacto direto com a agroecologia e a regeneração do território.
O almoço regenerativo não está incluído, mas existe a opção de o reservar previamente, com o valor ajustado conforme o número de participantes.
Visitas para Universidades e Outras Instituições de Ensino Nacionais
As visitas destinam-se a Instituições de Ensino Superior, Politécnicos, Centros de Investigação, Formações Técnicas e outras Entidades Educativas ou Científicas que pretendam realizar visitas educativas ao Centro de Agroecologia e Regeneração para o Semiárido (CARES), em Mértola.
Estas visitas promovem o contacto direto com práticas agroecológicas e regenerativas, a gestão sustentável de ecossistemas e a regeneração de territórios semiáridos, num contexto educativo e participativo.
As visitas devem ser marcadas previamente através do preenchimento deste formulário. O valor da visita é ajustado de acordo com o número de participantes e o tipo de programa escolhido (visita geral, técnica ou temática).
A Visita Guiada inclui o almoço regenerativo no PREC — Da horta-floresta para o prato — onde propomos um almoço vegetariano, composto por entrada ou sopa e prato do dia. As bebidas, café e sobremesas não estão incluídos, e o valor total será ajustado conforme o número de participantes.
School Visits fora do concelho
For primary, secondary, and high schools outside the municipality of Mértola, the guided tour costs €10 per participant, excluding lunch, and must be scheduled in advance by filling out this form.
There is the option to schedule the regenerative lunch in advance, with the price adjusted according to the number of participants.
This experience allows students to experience the entire journey, from the visit to CARES to sharing a sustainable meal at PREC.
